Hammerhead Boats specialize in the manufacture of custom built plate aluminium boats and are able to construct boats up to 18 meters at competitive prices. Hammerhead offers a diverse range of propulsion systems to meet client’s needs from outboard motors to inboard diesel engines coupled to jet surface drives, prop and shaft etc.

Hammerhead’s designs are not limited to one naval architect. Apart from a selection of our best designs, Hammerhead employs world renowned naval architects and designers for precut kit sets. In today’s market there has been a great demand for custom made boats to suit various applications. Our understanding of this has led to employ some of the skills not available locally from offshore based architects and designers. We pride ourselves as a custom boat builder.

Boats constructed are pilot boats, game fishing boats, commercial fishing boats, dive boats, cargo barges, passenger carriers, recreational boats etc. Hammerhead consults and advises on the best options suitable for the investor’s purpose. We have refurbished vessels, repowered and done necessary extensions to boats and joined aluminium to fibreglass, steel, etc.

We have also been involved with redesigning and constructing new exhaust systems, water storage and many other alterations as well as building custom made aluminium trailers. Our diverse range of skilled staff allows Hammerhead to carry out alternative work from boat building, whether it be repair of engine parts, propellers, engineering and construction projects.

Anton Lee, managing director comes from a marine background, being involved with boats from a young age and has built Hammerhead boats into a reputable boat building business. Hammerhead staff comprise of qualified personnel with a wide range of experience including designers, ship rights, electricians, welders, engineers and technicians.

A broad spectrum of knowledge of the marine industry has been employed into Hammerhead with key staff having vast experience in construction/fabrication, diving, boat building, fishing industry, boat design and engineering, electronics, electrical, fiber glass and timber work. We take pride in being a one stop shop supplying products designed and manufactured to suit our customer’s needs.
